Mt. Healthy resident is a WeTHRIVE! Champion

Morgan Whaley of Mt. Healthy is the 2022 WeTHRIVE!℠ Champion for Service to the Community.

Serving in many roles

Morgan has an enthusiasm and thirst to serve all families in the Greater Cincinnati area. She is executive director of Love in Action, a non-profit social service agency in Mt. Healthy that provides basic services to underserved individuals and families. Love in Action has a food pantry that serves more than 100 families every week, a diaper bank, and a laundry service for those in need.

As First Lady of Emanuel Temple Apostolic Church in Mt. Healthy, Morgan heads up the women’s ministry and mission advancement. She is also the Community Engagement Coordinator for Sweet Cheeks Diaper Bank.

In nominating Morgan for this award, Joy Broyles says:

“Morgan is truly God’s servant in everything she does, whether it’s volunteering, coordinating, ministering, or running a non-profit. Her heart to serve the WHOLE family is one I’ve never experienced before.”

Response to Champion Award

When asked what the WeTHRIVE! Champion Award means to her, Morgan says:

“The climate of the Mt. Healthy community is changing and I believe this award demonstrates that change. I am humbled and honored to represent hope in Mt. Healthy.”

Morgan’s constant efforts to serve the community make her a true WeTHRIVE! champion.
