Mimi Anderson is North College Hill’s new WeTHRIVE! neighborhood navigator

Mimi Anderson is the new WeTHRIVE! neighborhood navigator for North College Hill (NCH), but she isn’t new to WeTHRIVE! While working as Mt. Healthy’s city clerk, she led that community’s WeTHRIVE! team and completed training as a WeTHRIVE! ambassador.

As a neighborhood navigator, Mimi will make connections and build relationships in an effort to create a healthy and safe community for all. “I am interested in jump starting the WeTHRIVE! program in North College Hill,” she said. “My experience as a team leader for WeTHRIVE! Mt. Healthy has provided me with tools and strategies that I hope to reapply in NCH to strengthen the program by pooling and expanding existing organizations and volunteers to coordinate efforts and market to the community.”

Mimi has seen WeTHRIVE!’s impact on Mt. Healthy and thinks the initiative can help NCH become a more vibrant community. “I hope to be able to replicate and build upon the positive results in my own neighborhood,” she said. She has already set up a Facebook page for WeTHRIVE! North College Hill.

North College Hill has been a WeTHRIVE! community since 2011. The city’s WeTHRIVE! team is focusing on the chronic disease pathway. The North College Hill City School District is also part of the WeTHRIVE! initiative.
