Woodlawn first became involved with WeTHRIVE!℠ in 2009, when the initiative was funded by the Strategic Alliance for Health grant from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Village joined the expanded WeTHRIVE! movement when it relaunched in 2014.
