The WeTHRIVE! initiative as a whole brings public health together with communities, schools, and child care providers, with the goal of making changes related to health, safety, and well-being that will last for generations to come.

In addition, those involved with any WeTHRIVE! initiative are invited to participate in learning, sharing, celebration, and networking opportunities throughout the year. You’ll find examples of these below.

WeTHRIVE! Newsletter

Emailed monthly, the newsletter provides information from our partners and other organizations, including funding and education opportunities, events, and resources for communities, schools, and child care providers. We also include the latest stories from our website and Hamilton County Public Health.

WeTHRIVE! Learning Collaborative

Team members from communities and schools, as well as child care providers, are invited to these quarterly gatherings that include speaker(s) and time for sharing and networking. We often offer a virtual attendance option. Past Learning Collaborative topics have included:

Large room with multiple round tables, with people talking at each table.

  • Community Connections, featuring successes from WeTHRIVE! schools and communities.
  • Creating Safe, Walkable, and Bikeable Communities, featuring a speaker from Hamilton County Planning + Development.
  • Healthy Food Access, featuring a panel of organizations working in the areas of food access and reducing food waste.
  • Grants 101, with a speaker from the Cincinnati & Hamilton County Public Library.

WeTHRIVE! Speed Networking Event

Held annually, this popular event gives teams from communities, schools, and child care a chance to meet one-on-one with representatives from WeTHRIVE! partner organizations.

Annual WeTHRIVE! Recognition Event

Team members and guests from WeTHRIVE! communities, schools, and child care providers are invited to a special evening that honors their accomplishments over the past year. We also announce our annual WeTHRIVE! Champion Award winners at this dinner event.
