Champions Week begins today! This is the special time each January when we celebrate the people who go above and beyond to help create a culture of health, safety, and vitality in Hamilton County. We start today with the 2023 WeTHRIVE!℠ Partner Champion Award, which went to the Cincinnati and Hamilton County Public Library and its community engagement coordinator, David Siders.
As the Library’s civic engagement coordinator, David has been an engaged member of the WeTHRIVE! Implementation Team for five years. He is passionate about making sure the Library’s resources are shared as widely as possible, and that they are easily accessible for all.
David always responds to requests and finds ways to assist WeTHRIVE! whenever asked. He continuously shares resources at meetings and submits items for the monthly WeTHRIVE! newsletter. With David’s help, the Library in 2023 provided space for an Implementation Team meeting and the annual speed networking event.
Thanks to David, several WeTHRIVE! community teams have beneficial connections with their local branch libraries. These include:
- Miami Township Branch Library (manager Carrie Bernard) and the Miami Township WeTHRIVE! team (read this story to learn more!).
- Cheviot Branch Library (manager Taylor Wallpe) and the Cheviot WeTHRIVE! team.
- Reading Branch Library (Rebecca Mullins) and the Reading WeTHRIVE! team.
- Delhi Branch Library (Casey Titschinger and Katy Dettinger) and the Delhi WeTHRIVE! team.
WeTHRIVE! values David as an individual as well as a representative of the Library. He is described as genuine and his efforts provide key connections and resources that have a positive impact on Hamilton County. This dedication to WeTHRIVE! makes David and the Library the ideal recipient of the WeTHRIVE! Champion Partner Award.
The Library is just one of our 57 partners!
