Accomplishments

  • Community Discussion: On February 20, 2016, Hamilton County Public Health staff facilitated a community discussion with residents that was held at the Village of North Bend municipal building. Health data, community assets and opportunities, and recommendations were presented. Contact us for a copy of the 2016 community health assessment.
  • Grant to Enhance Playground: In March 2015, the Village of North Bend was the recipient of an Interact for Health Grant. The funding was used to complete the Presidential Community Playground located in the center of the historic village. The grant helped to build a pavilion/shelter (24 feet by 24 feet) with electrical outlets and lighting on the interior. The pavilion is used as a space for children and families to gather away from the heat of the sun.
