Cheviot (pop. 8,375) is located seven miles northwest of downtown Cincinnati.

How Cheviot THRIVES!:
  • A WeTHRIVE! Community: Cheviot is one of the initial WeTHRIVE! communities that became engaged with Hamilton County Public Health in 2011 as part of the Communities Putting Prevention to Work grant. In December 2011, Cheviot adopted the WeTHRIVE! Chronic Disease resolution and was awarded a WeTHRIVE! mini-grant to help make it easier for residents to be more active and eat healthy.
  • A Committed Council: In July 2017, the City of Cheviot council recommitted their support for the WeTHRIVE! initiative by adopting the WeTHRIVE! Overall resolution.
