First Lady Michelle Obama would be proud of the approximately 200 people who got moving during WeTHRIVE! Move Right! Physical Fitness Week, October 10-15. Free walks and exercise classes were held at churches throughout Hamilton County. You can see photos on the WeTHRIVE! facebook page.

Last summer, my mom decided that our family should eat healthier. So she went to a program called Lincoln Heights Cooks where she learned to cook with all sorts of vegetables that my family had never tried. Some of them were not so good, but most of them were very delicious.

Ready, Set, Interact! WeTHRIVE! Unveils Interactive Marketing Display

WeTHRIVE! is excited to unveil an interactive marketing display, known as a digital out-of-home (DOOH) experience. The DOOH is located at 120 East 4th Street at the Mercantile Building in downtown Cincinnati.

Pedestrians can interact with the DOOH as they walk by. The DOOH has two components: (1) scenes from around the city and (2) an interactive quiz. The purpose of the DOOH piece is to highlight four distinct areas: access to healthy food, increased physical activity, access to safe places to play and access to community gardens.
